Tehran: Iran has become even more enraged after the US entered the Iran-Israel conflict. "We Don't care," Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has said in response to US President Donald Trump's warning that "Iran must surrender unconditionally, or something big will happen."
"If the US intervenes by providing military support to Israel's attack on Iran, it will cause irreparable harm to both countries," Khamenei thundered.
Addressing the nation on a government owned news channel, he said, "Those who know the Iranian nation well and know its history would never speak to us in such threatening language." "No matter what threat America makes, we will not bow to it," he said.
"We have no plans to assassinate Khamenei right now. We know where he is hiding. But he must surrender unconditionally," Donald Trump warned Iran on Tuesday. "Iran has no air defense system. It will not be allowed to have any nuclear weapons," he said.
Attack on the 6th day
The Iran-Israel conflict entered its sixth day on Wednesday, with attacks and counterattacks continuing. Iran fired 400 missiles, including a Fatah-1 hypersonic missile, at Tel Aviv, Israel. Most of the missiles were shot down by Israeli air defense systems. In response, Israeli forces targeted residential areas and military bases in Tehran. Since last Friday, 585 Iranians have been killed and 1,300 wounded in the fighting. 24 Israelis have reportedly been killed.
Missiles for 2 weeks
The Israeli military has only enough missiles in its arsenal for two more weeks, and the US is expected to provide weapons assistance, a report said.
