New Delhi: Pakistan, having learnt its lesson from 'Operation Sindoor', is chanting the mantra of peace today. But, we will not give in to it. Talks will only proceed if they give up terrorism. Prime Minister Modi has sent a strong message to Pakistan that terror and trade cannot go together, water and blood cannot flow together. He has also given an open warning that if they bothers us again, we will invade and attack them.
Addressing the nation at 8 pm on May 12, he said, "India has taken three decisions after Operation Sindoor. Operation Sindoor has given us the 'New Normal'. We have taken three decisions from this. First, if India is attacked again, we will respond without hesitation. We will go to the places from where the terrorists came and strike directly. Secondly, we will not tolerate the threat of nuclear bombs. Thirdly, we will not see the backing country and terrorism separately" the Prime Minister said.
With this, the Prime Minister, who has completely rejected Pakistan's peace proposal, will no longer be the same as it was for so long. 'Terror and talk' will no longer go hand in hand. "Terror and trade cannot go together. Similarly, 'water and blood' cannot flow together," he said categorically. "From now on, if we hold talks with Pakistan, we will only talk about combating terrorism." "We will only talk about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. We will not talk about anything else," he said firmly.
Pakistan, shaken after Operation Sindoor, is now offering peace talks. But everything will be fine if it stops its vile act of nurturing terrorists in its fold. He said that Pakistan has no other way out of its current predicament.
'We will rush in and attack them'
"Operation Sindoor is a symbol of the sentiments of the entire India. On the night of May 6th and the midnight of May 7th, the entire world witnessed what our pledge was. We dismantled 9 terrorist training camps in Pakistan. "They never even dreamed of this. But, our decision was clear. For us, the country was first. It will be the same from now on. For us, the country is first. If it comes to our path again, we will rush in and beat it," the Prime Minister said.
At the same time, he warned Pakistan, "The terrorists who died in Operation Sindoor were buried in Pakistan with state honors. Pakistani army officers themselves were involved in it. There is no greater proof than this that Pakistan is a terrorist state. The Pakistan Army and the Pakistan government have given shelter to terrorists today. However, the same terrorists will finish off Pakistan. So, let Pakistan wake up now at least," he said, giving a piece of advice.
The Prime Minister said that not only trade but also the Indus River water, which has already been stopped for Pakistan, will no longer be released. India had imposed several sanctions against Pakistan in the wake of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. One of them is the suspension of the Indus River Treaty. According to this decision, the water of the Indus River flowing from India to Pakistan has been completely blocked.
Salute to the Indian Armed Forces
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister thanked the three armed forces of India (Army, Navy and Air Force) for the successful completion of Operation Sindoor. "I thank the three services, the agencies, the scientists. To all our soldiers, Operation Sindoor has achieved its goal. For that, they have displayed extraordinary bravery. I dedicate their heroism, their courage, their valor to every mother and sister of this country," he said.
'Aware of the ill effects of removing sindoor'
"The terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22 was a brutal act. That incident sparked a nationwide outcry against terrorism, regardless of caste or creed. We can only imagine the cruelty of killing our countrymen in front of their wives and children. It hurt our self-respect. That same day, we vowed to bury the terrorists in the dust. Operation Sindoor is the result of that. This operation has made the terrorists and their organisations understand the consequences of wiping the saffron from the foreheads of our brothers and sisters," Modi said.
'They are not just centers, they are terrorist universities'
Modi said that the Indian forces' destruction of terrorist training camps in Pakistan was a kind of favor to the entire world. "The terrorist training camps that we have destroyed are like universities for terrorists all over the world. All the terrorist attacks that have taken place in the world so far have some kind of connection with these training centers. That is why we have eliminated more than 100 such terrorists along with their universities," he said.
'Pakistan made a mistake again'
He severely criticized the Pakistani government and said, "Pakistan is a haven for terrorists. They were all roaming freely in Pakistan. They were conspiring against India. We have eliminated all of them in one night. Pakistan fell into despair. It sank into a pit of sorrow. However, at that time, Pakistan made another mistake. Instead of supporting our fight against terrorism, it attacked us," he said.
"We have targeted temples, gurudwaras, colleges, and army bases. As a result, Pakistan's military power is on the rise. The whole world has seen it.
How we shot down Pakistani drones and missiles. If Pakistan attacked our territory, we went inside them and attacked," he explained.
'We have shattered Pakistan's symbols of pride'
We have destroyed Pakistan's air bases. Pakistan had great pride in them. But, we have shattered that pride. In other words, we have literally destroyed all their air bases. Pakistan did not expect all that. Then Pakistan woke up. It looked for a way to survive. As a result, on May 10, the Pakistani army called our DGMO and proposed a ceasefire, the Prime Minister said.
'Operation Sindoor is our new policy'
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister declared, "India will no longer be the same as it was before." In his speech, he said, "Each time there has been a terrorist attack in the past, we have chanted the mantra of peace with Pakistan. We have held talks. But when all that did not work, we have carried out surgical strikes and air strikes. So, from now on, Operation Sindoor will be our new policy," he said.
'Our military strength is now world-famous'
Operation Sindoor has spread our military capabilities to the entire world. It has shown the world what is the power of our Made in India weapons. Now everyone knows what is the power of Made in India weapons in the 21st century. This is truly a matter of pride.
"In such situations, our unity is our strength. It is true. this era is not the era of war. But, this era is not the era of terrorists either. We have zero tolerance against terrorists." This is the guarantee we are giving to the world. Today is Buddha Purnima. Lord Buddha has shown us the path of peace. Humans should move forward on the path of peace. In such a situation, it is very necessary for India to be strong. Not only that, there is also a need to teach wisdom to those who have fallen upon us. On this occasion, I would like to salute our armed forces. Thank you all," Modi concluded his speech, and at the end, he said, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" three times.
