PM Modi And Indias Retaliation For The Kashmir Attack

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK): India is worried about regaining Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) after the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan's abrogation of the Shimla Agreement is convenient for India. It remains to be seen whether Prime Minister Modi will take a decision like Indira Gandhi and take control of PoK. India is ready to take revenge against Pakistan.

New Delhi: In the wake of the Pahalgam attack, a war situation has emerged between India and Pakistan. The Modi government, which had retaliated with surgical strikes after the 2016 Uri attack, had retaliated with air strikes on Balakot for the 2019 Pulwama attack. 140 crore Indians witnessed this. Now, the countrymen are watching with curiosity how the Modi government will avenge the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Looking at the current situation, it seems like something big is happening. India now has all the capabilities and weapons to do and get what it wants. Moreover, Pakistan's withdrawal from the Shimla Agreement has opened the door for India to take over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. So, will Modi take back PoK as revenge for the Pahalgam attack? This question is bothering everyone. Let's see the answer to it here.

Yes, it has been a week since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Apart from diplomatic measures, the Modi government has not yet taken any military measures. However, there are extensive discussions and negotiations going on in Delhi between the Prime Minister, the Home, Defense, Foreign Ministers, and the Army Chiefs. The army is also ready for anything. All these developments make it seem as if the central government is up to something big. Pakistan's withdrawal from the Shimla Agreement has allowed India to enter Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. This has opened up the possibility that Prime Minister Modi could reclaim PoK, just as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had divided Pakistan into two. It is said that the Modi government and the army have made preparations for this.

Modi had said he would teach Pakistan a lesson too!

PM Modi And Indias Retaliation For The Kashmir Attack

Reacting to the Pahalgam attack, Prime Minister Modi had given a direct warning that the terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack and those who plotted the attack will be punished beyond imagination. Wherever they are, we will find them and shoot them down. These words were not just about punishing terrorists, but also about teaching a lesson to Pakistan. Modi had hinted at teaching a lesson not only to the terrorist camps but also to the Pakistan army that is encouraging terrorists. The statement made by Pakistan Army Chief Asif Munir that was the reason for the Pahalgam attack has angered India. Meanwhile, the cancellation of the Shimla Agreement has given a sign that the time for the capture of PoK is near.

The cancellation of the Shimla Agreement is a plus for India!

The main reason for saying that the time for Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to join India is near is the Pahalgam attack and Pakistan's withdrawal from the Shimla Agreement. India, which had been honoring the Shimla Agreement, had not crossed the Line of Control drawn between the two countries after the 1971 war. However, now that Pakistan has abrogated the Shimla Agreement, it is likely to benefit India. The cancellation of the Shimla Agreement gives India greater military freedom along the Line of Control. There is a possibility that the Indian army could cross the border during military operations. During the Kargil War in 1999, Pakistan violated the Shimla Agreement and crossed the LoC. However, India has never violated the agreement.

Will the Modi government's main agenda be fulfilled?

Now that Pakistan has abrogated the Shimla Pact, India has the opportunity to change the status of the Line of Control. This will allow India to enter Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and allow Indian troops to move all the way to the Afghan border. This could lead to a military confrontation between the two countries. Retaking PoK is one of the key agendas of the Modi government and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and many others have made statements regarding this, saying that PoK will soon be merged with India. Following this, India has now got the opportunity to take control of PoK. India, which has already abrogated the Indus Water Treaty, has forced Pakistan to fight for every drop of water.

Overall, the Modi government is considering retaking Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan's abrogation of the Shimla Agreement will also help India in this. Will Modi, like Indira Gandhi, take a big decision and teach Pakistan a lesson? Will he take control of PoK? It remains to be seen.
